Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam MLA Revanth Reddy alleged that the TRS government was totally neglecting families of farmers, who committed suicide. Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Tuesday, the TDP leader said power cuts have come down because of less consumption and not due to efficiency of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
He lamented that the Telangana Chief Minister has been levelling allegations against his AP counterpart saying that the AP government was not supplying power to Telangana. However, the truth is that the Telangana government has written a letter to AP government stating that it is not willing to purchase power from Krishnapatnam Plant.
Alleging that KCR was not fulfilling his poll promises, the TDP MLA said the former was feeling insecure due to rising popularity of TDP. He further added that the claim of TRS leaders that 10 lakh people turned out for Sunday’s Foundation Day celebrations was totally false.
Claiming that TDP meeting at Mahabubnagar was a grand success, Revanth Reddy said the comment of KCR against the TDP meeting was an insult to the people of Mahabubnagar district. He wanted to know whether the TRS government had any time to remember the sacrifices of 1,200 persons for the cause of Telangana statehood.
