Health Minister C Laxma Reddy laid foundation for a 100-bed hospital at Bhupalpalli and 50-bed hospital at Chityal mandal headquarters in the district on Sunday.
The 100-bed hospital at Bhupalpalli mandal headquarters is being taken up with an estimated expenditure of Rs 23.50 crore. The hospital at Chityal is estimated to cost Rs 9.50 crore, the Minister said.
Speaking after laying founda-tion stone for the hospitals along with the Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Minister Laxma Reddy said that the construction works of hospital at Bhupalpalli would be executed on war-footing.
