BJP to contest from Warangal LS. The Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed its intention to contest the by-election to the Warangal Lok Sabha, which fell vacant due to the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, who got elected to the Legislative Council following his induction into the state Cabinet.

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed its intention to contest the by-election to the Warangal Lok Sabha, which fell vacant due to the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, who got elected to the Legislative Council following his induction into the state Cabinet.
Speaking to media persons at Warangal, BJP senior leader and former Mayor Rajeshwar Rao said the Telugu Desam Party should leave the seat for the BJP.
Compared to the TDP, the BJP has a strong base in Warangal and it could easily win the seat, he said.While condemning TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy's bid to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, the BJP leader criticised the TRS for luring legislators of the Opposition parties despite having majority in the Assembly.
