TRS MLA Stephenson reaches court to record statement in cash for vote scam

TRS MLA Elvis Stephenson reached ACB Court in Hyderabad amid tight security on Wednesday to record his statement under section 164 CRPC in front of a magistrate in connection with the cash for vote scam.

It is expected that the TRS MLA will disclose the names of the people who allegedly offered bribe to him and speculations are rife that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and a few other TDP leaders who spoke to him before Revanth Reddy are said to be named.

Meanwhile, ACB officials who served notices to two TDP leaders are questioning TDP leader V Narender Reddy might be serving notices to more TDP leaders. Depending upon TRS MLA Stephenson’s statement, Chandrababu Naidu might be served notice.
