Speaking to mediapersons here, Narayana exhorted the people to fight against the Centre for trying to impose Section 8 at the behest of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The common capital Hyderabad is very peaceful and Section 8 is totally unwarranted now, he said.
He also slammed Chandrababu Naidu for pressurising the Centre to impose Section 8 instead of admitting his crime of trying to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote for his party candidate.
He also expressed doubts that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu was raking up a non-issue of Section 8 in the common capital with a view to create disturbances in the city and prepare a ground for a protracted fight for imposition of Governor rule in Hyderabad.
If the Centre succumbs to Naidu’s pressure on Section 8, the entire Telangana will burst into serious action, he warned. “Naidu should stop crying foul on the cash scam in which his voice was clearly heard by one and all,” he said.
The TRS government will not go soft on the issue and the law will take its own course, he asserted. T Journalist Kranthi said raking up a non-issue is tantamount to diverting the attention of the people and the purpose was to hatch conspiracies for creating disturbances, he alleged.
