Hyderabad: The PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Monday, dismissed two writ pleas dealing with the issues relating to the state capital. While the writ filed by Dr Ch Dayanand for declaring a state of emergency in the state of Telangana on the ground that there is ‘failure of constitutional machinery as the Governor has failed to abide and uphold the constitution” was withdrawn, the other petition filed by by Andhra Association of Telangana seeking declaration of the action of the Telangana state government and Police Commissioners of Hyderabad and Cyberabad in not discharging the functions of law and order through 100 police stations within the limits of GHMC contrary to the Section 8 and its Sub-sections 1 and 2 of the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014 as illegal was dismissed by the bench on the ground that the petition was not maintainable.
