DWCRA group opens canteen in Collectorate

Karimnagar: Karimnagar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ravinder Singh on Tuesday inaugurated DWCRA canteen at the Collectorate in the town. With a view to provide tea, snacks and meals to visitors at low prices, the DWCRA women setup a canteen at the district Collectorate.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor lauded the decision of the women groups to provide tea, snacks and meals to visitors at reasonable tariff by setting up the subsidised canteen. He urged the officials of all the officials to give orders to the women group canteen if there was any departmental programme and extend their support to strengthen the women groups.

District Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad emphasised the need to maintain quality in the preparation of food items. She said the responsibility of maintenance of mineral water plant would also be given to women group. Mineral water should be supplied to each and everyone in the Collectorate, she said.
