The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau\'s petition which sought quashing of bail granted by Hyderabad High Court to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote case. The ACB had sought cancellation of bail granted to Revanth Reddy and two other accused, Uday Simha and Sebastian, in the cash for vote scam.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau's petition which sought quashing of bail granted by Hyderabad High Court to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote case. The ACB had sought cancellation of bail granted to Revanth Reddy and two other accused, Uday Simha and Sebastian, in the cash for vote scam. The Apex court said the bail can't be cancelled as the accused have already spent a month in jail and the ACB also took them in its custody for four days and recorded their statements.
