Hyderabad: The TPCC leadership assures to recognise the longstanding and hardworking party men who had failed to get the deserved position in the party. To boost their morale, it will be inviting AICC vice president, Rahul Gandhi for all India meeting of former NSUI leaders scheduled to be held on August 30.

Addressing a reunion meeting of former NSUI (National Students Union of India) leaders held at Indira Bhavan, the TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy assured that the workers who formed the flesh and blood of the party would no more be ignored. While acknowledging that the earlier leadership failed to recognise their services, he said that the most eligible leaders will be recognised by the party after it wins in 2019 elections.

While criticising the TRS leadership, he alleged that the regional party was trying the destroy the Congress party in the State, which has actually conceded the demand for the Telangana state. In a veiled attack on former PCC president D Srinivas who had joined TRS recently, he termed him as ‘shameless’ person.

“Those who enjoyed key positions in the party have now shamelessly jumped to another party,” he said. TPCC working president, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, NSUI State president B Venkat, MLA, S A Sampath Kumar, former MPs M Anjan Kumar Yadav, Ponnam Prabhakar and other leaders spoke.
