The Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the Nizamabad District Collectorate against the fee hike of MBBS ‘B’ category. The students union raised slogans against the Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the TRS government.

Nizamabad: The Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the Nizamabad District Collectorate against the fee hike of MBBS ‘B’ category. The students union raised slogans against the Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the TRS government.


ABVP District Secretary Rakesh alleged that both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State governments were quarrelling on various issues but both the governments have hiked the fees of MBBS ‘B’ Category seats from Rs 2 lakh to 9 lakh. The poor and the middle class people cannot afford such high fees.


He demanded the governments of the Telugu States to immediately decline the hiked fees and conduct the medical counselling as usual. Later, the ABVP students presented a memoranda to the District Collector.
