Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday has approved the design for the state of the art police command and control centre at Banjara Hills. The Multi-storeyed twin towers will be built on an eight acre site with all modern facilities for the police force that is said to replicate the metropolitan police force in New York and London.


The Chief Minister has approved one design among the 15 companies that submitted the designs. The twin towers will be connected by a bridge with one tower having 16 floors and other with 24. Stating that the building will become an ‘iconic structure’ in Hyderabad apart from the smart policing, the Chief Minister said the command and control centre would be connected with all police head quarters in all the districts for effective monitoring of safety, security of people, law and order situation.


The towers will have solar roof-top with green energy concept and also a helipad on the top of each of these towers.
