Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Telangana State unit spokesperson Pratap Reddy accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government of pushing Telangana State into financial crisis. Addressing a press conference here, Pratap Reddy said Telangana had a surplus budget at the time of its formation.

However, wrong policies and maladministration of the TRS government during the last 14 months had turned the surplus into deficit budget, he alleged. Pratap Reddy also alleged that three IPS and two IAS officials of Telangana were involved in the phone tapping case.

Further, he said that the incident of phone tapping instilled fear among foreign investors and they were hesitating to invest in Hyderabad. The TDP leader also alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had been frequently touring the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in view of forthcoming GHMC elections. However, he said people would never trust the fake promises being made by Rao.
