TS forest corpn constituted. he Telangana State government on Tuesday constituted its Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TSFDC) under the AP Reorganisation act.
Principal Secretary to government (Environment, Forests, Science and Technology) will be the Chairman of the corporation
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government on Tuesday constituted its Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TSFDC) under the AP Reorganisation act. The government also appointed Chairman and five Directors to conduct board meeting and take decisions in several transactions of the corporation.

The government order (GO) issued to this effect here said that the Principal Secretary to government (Environment, Forests, Science and Technology) would be the Chairman of the Corporation.
The Corporation Chairman and Managing Director, Special Secretary ( Environment and Forests) , Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF, Production), Deputy Secretary to government (Finance) and Additional PCCF (Central, Regional office Chennai, Ministry of Environment and Forests) would be the Directors of the Corporation.
The officials said that the Corporation would study the present status of the assets owned by the TSFDC in Telangana, potential in promoting in tourism in forest reserve areas and the promotion of the existing recreation centres in the reserves.
