TS ACB told to respond to charges of torture

Hyderabad: Justice AV Sesha Sai of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday directed the ACB Telangana to respond to allegations of torture by the investigating agency in the name of investigation. The judge was dealing with a petition filed by TDP student’s wing leader Pradeep Choudary.
The petitioner contended that the agency was harassing him in the name of investigation. He alleged that the ACB was pressurising him to name the leaders in the cash-for-vote scam and that he was being made to sit for hours in the office of ACB. Granting time to the ACB to respond, the judge adjourned the case to Monday.
