Guv to take part in Grama Jyothi programme. Governor ESL Narasimhan would be taking part in Grama Jyothi in Mahbubnagar district on Monday. He took the decision in response to a request made by IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Friday.

Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan would be taking part in Grama Jyothi in Mahbubnagar district on Monday. He took the decision in response to a request made by IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Friday. Minister KTR called on Governor at Raj Bhavan along with a few government officials.

He briefed the first citizen about government objective to give a big facelift to rural areas through Grama Jyothi scheme. Narasimhan told the Minister that he was following the progress of the new scheme for the last four days and would be attending the programme in Hajipet and Kishannagar villages in Shadnagar mandal of Mahbubnagar district at 10 am on Monday.

Besides KTR, district Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and C Laxma Reddy would also participate in the programme. Meanwhile, Taraka Rama Rao urged the Governor to attend inauguration of T-hub slated for September 7. KTR gave an insight of the new initiative of the government on IT front. While accepting the invite, Governor said that he was interested in interacting with the partners of T-Hub and their plans to groom prospective entrepreneurs.

The T-Hub coming up in 65,000 square feet area in IIIT campus in Gachibowli would be one of its kind platform for aspiring IT entrepreneurs to transform their ideas and dreams into a reality. Around 170 start-up companies and 800 individuals would be given opportunity in phase-1 of this project.
