Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had a series of bilateral meetings on Saturday at the Raffles Beijing Hotel in Beijing with leading Chinese industrial companies and prospective investors. They include Chongqing International Construction Corporation, Inspur Group of Companies, China Fortune Land Development Company, China Railway Corporation and SANY Group.
The Chief Minister informed the representatives of these companies about the facilities available in Telangana for them to invest in their respective fields of operation. Chinese industrialists are understood to have shown keen interest in the state and expressed their willingness to visit the Telangana State as early as possible for further discussions.
The Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO). It has two projects in India namely Medical Institute in Bihar and Light Railway Project in New Delhi. Discussions between the Chief Minister and CICO revolved around the latter’s participation in Telangana State’s industrial development.
The Chief Minister along with delegation had a meeting with representatives of Inspur Group led by its Vice-President Zhang Dong, who is also President and CEO of Inspur India. Inspur Group intends to invest in India in the field of electronics and hardware. The Chief Minister and his team had yet another bilateral meeting with China Fortune Land Development Company (CFLDC) representatives.
CFLDC is interested to develop new industrial city in India. They shared their experiences with each other and explored the possibilities of CFLDC investing in Telangana State. The China Fortune Land Development Company provides investment, development, and operation services for industrial cities in China.
It is a leading developer of new industrial city, industrial zone, theme zone, headquarters of industrial zone and standard workshop area. Its industrial cities comprise scientific and technological cities, and industrial complexes. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in Beijing, China.
The Chief Minister’s another meeting was with representatives of China Railway Corporation. China Railway Corporation (CRC) is the national railway operator in China and manages all commuter rail and freight transport. With 5,700 train stations, they support the largest population in the world.
Another meeting was with SANY group. It is a global company in the construction.The Chief Minister visited the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty.
It is located in the centre of Beijing and now houses the Palace Museum. It served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government for almost 500 years.
