Panchayat Raj minister KT Rama Rao reacted sharply to the allegations surrounding the implementation of Water Grid project. He challenged the Opposition parties on the floor of the Telangana Assembly and offered to resign if allegations were proved.
Replying to the allegations on the Water Grid, KTR said he would resign if the Opposition proved their claim that 80 per cent of the villages in the state were provided water in the previous rule.
"We will go to any village, if they prove that water is supplied with tap water, I will resign," he said.
He rubbished allegations of the opposition party saying they are baseless.
