KCR invites Governor

Inauguration of 2-bhk housing scheme
Hyderabad: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has called on Governor E S L Narasimhan in Raj Bhavan on Friday.
He invited the Governor for the inauguration of 2-bedroom houses in IDH Colony at Bhoiguda on October 22, coinciding with Dasara festival.
Around 400 houses have been constructed in this colony in a record time. The TRS government intends to model its 2-bedroom housing scheme after this colony.
Even Narasimhan visited the colony a few weeks ago and praised the quality of construction. Both Narasimhan and KCR will be gracing the inaugural programme and handing over ownership certificates to beneficiaries on Vijayadashmi.
Also, KCR extended invitation to the Governor for the Saddula Bathukamma festival to be organised at the Tank Bund on October 20, two days prior to Vijayadashmi.
The government is taking steps to organise Saddula Bathukamma, marking culmination of nine-day long floral festival, in a big way.
The Cultural wing will be assisted by GHMC, Water Board and other departments in smooth conducting of the festival.
