Hyderabad: The Ministers Quarters bore a festive look on Tuesday with wives and family members of Ministers, MLAs and MPs celebrating Saddula Bathukamma.
Telangana Jagruthi chief and Nizamabad MP Kavitha and Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy prepared Bathukammas with colourful flowers at the residence of Finance Minister Eatala Rajender.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha and Padma said the TRS government was conducting the event in a big way across the 10 districts. The festival brought together all the women and girls for last nine days, they said.
Extending greetings to the people of the State, they said the Saddula Bathukamma festival would come to an end at Tank Bund on Tuesday evening.
With government support, all Telangana people celebrated the event in Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore and many States in America and London, Kavitha added.
