Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who is on a visit to Delhi to attend the Niti Ayog meeting presided by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chauhan met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday.

With Telangana being the second state in the country with deficit budget, KCR urged the Finance Minister to lift the restrictions on loan permits and raise the FRBM limit.

The Chief Minister discussed with Arun Jaitley about releasing the funds meant for backward states this year to take up development works and also or the drought-struck mandals. KCR will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the evening.
