With allegations surfacing over the mass deletion of voters in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) region, Election Commission of India (ECI) special team has arrived in Hyderabad to probe into the matter.
The 13-member committee visited the BJP and TDP Assembly constituencies. The team reportedly questioned officials on the deletion of large number of votes in constituencies represented by opposition members and expressed their displeasure over the reasons for deleting votes adopted by GHMC officials.
