The film will be competing in the upcoming 19thInternational Children’s Film Festival of India to be held in Hyderabad between November 14 and 20. The festival boasts of participation of films produced by the world renowned filmmakers.
Seasoned filmmaker Allani Sridhar, who made internationally renowned film “Gautam Buddha” which won acclaim in 27 countries and also award-winning film “Komaram Bheem,” has been appointed as the chairman of jury for “Competition Little Directors” to promote cinema that is created exclusively made by children and two other filmmakers Suresh and Acharya have been appointed as jury members.
The International Children Film Festival to be held between November 14 and 20, has four sections - Competition International, Competition Asian Panorama, Children's World/ Country Focus world and Competition Little Directors - and winners would be bestowed with prestigious Golden Elephant and other awards. Kiddie flicks including live action as well as animation movies made across the world, will be screened in Hyderabad.
Confirming the appointment of three Telangana filmmakers, Amir Banu, Administration Officer, Children Film Society of India, said “We have appointed these three filmmakers in the jury for the international children’s film festival.
Allani Sridhar is appointed as Jury Chairman, while other two filmmakers are in other juries. We can’t reveal anything more about our jury members,” she said.
