Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday said that the people of Telangana have given tremendous victory today by voting TRS candidate in the Warangal Lok Sabha by-poll.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday said that the people of Telangana have given tremendous victory today by voting TRS candidate in the Warangal Lok Sabha by-poll.
Addressing a press conference, the Telanagana CM saluted the people of Warangal for giving their verdict. He further said that his government's responsibility had increased with the Warangal by-poll win.
The TRS retained the Warangal Lok Sabha seat by a record margin of over 4.59 lakh votes.Meanwhile, the Telangana CM also urged the Central Government to provide an immediate grant of Rs 1000 Crore as relief for the drought-hit mandals in the state.
The TRS Government has sent a report to the Centre to this effect. The Government has identified 231 mandals as drought mandals in the state.
