The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) after its major win in the Warangal Bypolls is gearing up to contest for the MLC elections. With the poll schedule already announced, TRS will be contesting for the 12 MLC seats. Three more seats apart from nine members of the Legislative Council having retired have come to Telangana due to the bifurcation of the united AP.
While TRS is strong in five seats, the party leaders are confident to win all the 12 seats owing to their recent victory in Warangal LS bypolls.
