Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) for the first time is joining hands with Congress for the upcoming MLC elections in the state. The tie-up is mainly to defeat TRS who is basking in the victory of the recently concluded Warangal LS by-polls where they won with a whopping majority.
Sources inform that TTDP and Congress have decided to field one candidate from each party in Mahbubnagar and Rangareddy districts. While TDP leader Gopal's name is doing the rounds as the party candidate, Sudhir Reddy is said to be the candidate for Congress.
