Hyderabad High Court has issued orders against the Beef festival in Osmania University and directed that the instructions of city civil court should be followed in this regard.
The Court even directed the police to look into the security measures in order to suppress the incidents that take place during the opposition of Beef festival. Ever since the Osmania University students announced that they will be hosting the Beef festival, several student organisations along with university authorities and city police have opposed the move.
Meanwhile, the students defying the court orders are going ahead with the beef festival that is to be organized on Thursday and have even released a menu for the festival. With the University authorities already warning the students twice against conducting the festival and Court issuing orders, the police are ready to implement the ban and will be arresting the student leaders if the orders are not followed.
