Fire interrupts rituals KCR's Chandi Yagam

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao\'s Ayuta Chandi Yagam that is being conducted at Erravelli village in Medak district came to an abrupt halt on Sunday owing to the Chandiyagam yagasthali (venue) dome getting engulfed by fire during the lunch time.

The venue was caught amidst blazing fire with smoke billowing from the inflammable dome of the Yagam. Fire brigade personnel who were called in to douse the fire took more than half-an-hour to get things under control.
It is learnt that no one was hurt in the incident as the priests, visitors and the organisers ran outside the venue for safety.
