Economic Support Scheme beneficiaries to be selected on Jan 11, 12

A team, comprising the officials of the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, members of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities Corporation Executive Director and bankers would select the beneficiaries for the ‘economic support scheme’ among the BCs, SCs, ST and minorities of the town at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium on January 11 and 12.

Nizamabad: A team, comprising the officials of the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, members of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities Corporation Executive Director and bankers would select the beneficiaries for the ‘economic support scheme’ among the BCs, SCs, ST and minorities of the town at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium on January 11 and 12.

Addressing a joint press conference called by the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ch Nageshwar Rao and the Executive Director of the BC Corporation Sailoo at the municipal corporation office here on Wednesday, Nageshwar Rao, said that on January 11, the team would select the beneficiaries at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium at 10 am. He said the selections would be made on the basis of the candidate’s age, education qualifications, income and their technical skills.

Sailoo said that on January 11 selections would be made for candidates from municipal divisions numbering 1 to 25 and on January 12, for the remaining 26 to 50 divisions. He said that the applicants should be present at the venue for the selections along with their original certificates. He also said that the State government was providing the same amount of subsidy for the BC, SC, ST and Minorities Corporations’ loans. He said that 80 per cent subsidy was being given on loan worth Rs one lakh and 70 per cent on Rs 2 lakh.
