KCR studied from class V to IX class at a school in Dubbaka of Medak district which is now a new building. On Monday, KCR inaugurated the newly constructed building at the school and recalled many incidents from his school days and also met his childhood friends on the occasion.

KCR praised his teachers Mrityunjaya Sharma, C. Raghava Reddy and G. Lakshminarasimha Sharma and credited them for what he is today. The Telangana CM also said that he used to wake up at 5 am in the morning and would go to his teacher's home. Explaining an incident that took place between him and Mrityunjaya Sharma, KCR said that the latter was shocked when he recited the verses without any mistakes.
