Asaduddin Owaisi slams Smriti Irani over Dalit student's suicide

MIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi reacted strongly against the remarks made by Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani on the issue of Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula's suicide.

Owaisi stated that Smriti Irani diverted the suicide of the HCU scholar and had completely ignored the central point the issue. He further added that the Minister purposely avoided mentioning the letter sent by Union Minister of Labour Bandaru Dattatreya for the suspension of the five students from the Hyderabad Central University campus that eventually led to the suicide of Rohith and triggered the entire issue.
