National Voters Day observed
Joint Collector K Babu Rao exhorted the students while administering pledge to the students and officials here on Monday.

On the occasion of the National Voters Day, officials, students and volunteers of National Service Scheme took out a rally from Pavilion Grounds to ZP Centre and formed human chain at ZP Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Collector said that special focus was laid on youngsters of above 18 years age, to make them enrol their names in the voters list and urged them to participate in the voting during elections without negligence.
Municipal Commissioner Venu Manohar and Revenue Divisional Officer Vinay Kirshna Reddy were present along with others in the rally.
The National Voters Day was observed in several educational institutions and various government departments across the district and took out rallies. At some places awareness campaigns were organised, stressing the need to exercise voting rights and fair voting practices.
