Veteran artistes asked to apply for pension
Additional Director of Information and Public Relation Department Pakhala Bhaskar told artistes aged above 58 years, of Khammam district to apply for pensions at I&PR office as the government decided to give pensions to aged artistes.

A committee, headed by District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar, will scrutinise the applications and select the eligible persons. The final list will be sent to the office of State Cultural Department.
Bhaskar requested the aged artistes of the district to apply for pensions before February 10 along with certificates of age and caste, photos of their cultural activities and other required details.
For further details, he told them to visit the I&PR office, opposite to State Bank Hyderabad main branch in Khammam town.
