The massive victory of TRS in Greater Hyderabad municipal elections has increased the party's responsibility, party leader and Telangana cabinet minister K. Tarakarama Rao said.
He said the results of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections prove that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has become an invincible political force in Telangana.
Tarakarama Rao, son of TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, told reporters that TRS will fulfill all its poll promises.
The minister, who led TRS campaign in the elections, hoped that the opposition parties would come forward to extend their cooperation with the government for development of Hyderabad as a global city.
The TRS has won or is leading in 100 divisions in 150-member GHMC, virtually wiping out opposition Congress and TDP-BJP alliance.
