Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari lauded the Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu for initiating people-friendly measures such as free coaching programme organised for youth to appear for competitive examinations.
Warangal: Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari lauded the Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu for initiating people-friendly measures such as free coaching programme organised for youth to appear for competitive examinations. The Deputy CM addressing the gathering at the valedictory of 60-day coaching programme at Kakatiya University in Hanamkonda on Friday said the coaching camp called ‘Sumarg’ would certainly benefit the youth to secure jobs and helps people get closer to the police.
He called upon the youth to study hard for competitive examinations to secure jobs being announced through the TSPSC and others. ‘The current generation youth has got talent and its needs to be sharpened and I hope the training programme would help them to excel in the tests,’ he added.
Commissioner of Police Sudheer Babu informed that a total of 9,789 youth appeared for the entrance test conducted by Warangal Police Commissionerate and the first 250 were selected for the free coaching. They were given temporary accommodation and free food during the course. Those completed the course were given study material worth Rs 3,000 each.
He said that they would be conducting weekly tests to prepare the job seekers further in view of the various competitive examinations scheduled in the days to come. MP Pasunuri Dayakar, MLAs D Vinay Bhaskar, Ch Dharma Reddy and Dr T Rajaiah, GWMC Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed and KU Registrar Prof Altaf Hussain have also appreciated the efforts of Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu.
