Karimnagar: District Medical and Health department officials made elaborate arrangements for second phase of ‘Pulse Polio’ programme. District Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad will inaugurate the programme by administering polio drops to children at urban health centre, Butti Rajaram colony, in Karimnagar town, on Sunday morning.
All the children below five years would be administered polio drops at 2,415 centres in rural areas and 425 centres in urban areas. A total of 86 mobile teams including 71 in rural areas and 15 in urban areas were appointed. 284 observers are going to be deployed in 44 travelling teams.
