Election notification to be issued today

Khammam: The State Election Commission will issue the election notification for Khammam Municipal Corporation elections on Monday. Nominations for the post of Corporators will be received till February 24 from the date of issuing of notifications. Nomination withdrawal is till 3 pm on February 26.

Polling will be held on March 6 from 7 am to 5 pm and the results will be out on March 9. The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the elections by appointing ward-wise returning and poling officers.
