INDUCTIon of YSRCP MLAs INTO TDP

Hyderabad: Minister for Commercial Taxes Talasani Srinivas Yadav has delivered a strong put-down to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for luring YSRCP MLAs into his Telugu Desam Party Addressing the media here along with MLA B Ganesh, Srinivas Yadav recalled that Naidu had raised hue and cry when the TDP legislators joined the TRS. “Naidu talked of ethics in politics.

But now he has thrown all those ethics to winds by inducting the defectors into his party,” he said. The AP Chief Minister and his friends had been demanding that the defected MLAs in Telangana State quit and seek re-election. Srinivas Yadav wondered whether Naidu would now ask the defected MLA to seek re- election.

The Minister said Naidu had admitted those who were in the past criticised by his party leaders. The AP Chief Minister had admitted J C Diwakar Reddy, who, he said, was accused by the TDP leader of being party to the murder of Paritala Ravindara.

Srinvias Yadav accused Naidu of stoking feuds among the families for his selfish interest. He said Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was fulfilling all the election promises and that was why everyone was attracted towards the TRS.

But in contrast, there was no chance of opposition legislators being attracted towards the TDP in AP because there was no development at all in the State. He wondered how much money Naidu had paid to the legislators to defect to his party. Replying to a question, Srinivas Yadav said the Speaker would decide on the letter by the TDLP MLAs to consider them as a separate group and their request for merger of the group with the TRS.
