Warangal: The counting of Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatara hundis has began at Enumamula market in Warangal on Wednesday. About 150 workers of Endowments Department were engaged in the hundi counting amid tight security.
The counting process was being monitored by Endowments Regional Joint Director Krishnaveni and others. According to the officials, there were a total of 479 hundis of which 469 were brought for counting at the market. The remaining would be brought to Warangal from Medaram for counting on Thursday. By Wednesday evening, a cash of Rs 1.30 crore was counted.
