Hyderabad: An annoyed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday expressed displeasure at the Opposition members for persistently coming in the way of reply being offered by Finance Minister on budget 2016-17. The frequent disturbance by the Opposition members like T Jeevan Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka of the Congress, BJP floor leader Laxman and others would send wrong signals, he remarked.

The Chief Minister asked them to stop coming in the way of Rajender’s reply. He denied reports of his comments that all schemes would be implemented in two to three years. Finance Minister was trying to say the facts and the Opposition parties were afraid that their misdeeds would come to light, he opined.

“Let the Finance Minister clarify the questions and then seek further clarifications by noting down the points,” he said. He recalled that K Jana Reddy gave pat to the ruling party members for not causing disturbance to Opposition members’ talk in the House. Chandrashekar Rao thundered saying whether the TRS leaders were not behaving properly and asked the Opposition to maintain decency in the House until the Finance Minister completed his version. “Can the Opposition talk anything beyond the agenda items?” He asked.

Chandrashekar Rao also asked Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy to direct his party members to calm down. He also took exception to the Opposition for seeking more time than they were supposed to use. “So far, the Opposition took 2.53 hours while the ruling party talked for only 1.26 hours,” the Chief Minister said. “The members can come up with posers for clarifications without disturbing the House proceedings,” he remarked.
