A GHMC civic worker was killed in a road accident at Amberpet on Monday morning, reports said.
A GHMC civic worker was killed in a road accident at Amberpet on Monday morning, reports said. Kumuramma succumbed to injuries on the spot after a TSRTC city bus hit her in the morning.Traffic came to a grinding halt after the mishap occurred. Hours after the accident, Municipal administration and Urban Development minister K Taraka Rama Rao announced Rs. 10 lakhs to the family of Komuramma.
Of this 10 lakhs, Rs. 5 lakh will be given by the GHMC and Rs.2 lakh each from CMRF & RTC and also one lakh major exgratia.
