A research scholar at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, N Sridhar Goud has entered into ‘Telugu Book of Records’ for delivering a marathon lecture for 30 hours. Goud began the feat on Monday at 11 am at Kakatiya University pharmacy seminar hall and finished his lecture successfully at 5 pm on Tuesday to create the new record. 

Warangal: A research scholar at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, N Sridhar Goud has entered into ‘Telugu Book of Records’ for delivering a marathon lecture for 30 hours. Goud began the feat on Monday at 11 am at Kakatiya University pharmacy seminar hall and finished his lecture successfully at 5 pm on Tuesday to create the new record.

He delivered a lecture on ‘Principles in drug chemistry and analytical tools” in the presence of invited guests and family members. Sridhar Goud who hails from Mandamarri village of Adilabad district completed his post graduation from the department of medicinal chemistry in Kakatiya University and now is engaged in research activity under the guidance of Prof M Mallika.

The ‘Telugu Book of Records’ founder Ch Venkatachary was present at beginning of the lecture and explained to him the rules to be followed for creating the record. On Tuesday, the representative of the Book of Records B Srinivas Reddy handed him the certificate of the record.

The controller of examinations KU controller of examinations Prof. K Purushotham felicitated Sridhar Goud with shawl and memento. The dedication displayed by the research scholar to achieve the feat wasworth emulating, the professor said while congratulating his parents N Yadagiri and Sugunamma.
