Nalgonda: The Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) has resumed its dismantling and construction works of the temple after successfully completing the annual Brahmotsavams. Demolishing old constructions, road survey works, construction works of Bala Alayam were intensified.

Bala Alayam is a replica of the Yadadri main temple, where the festive deities of Lord Narasimha Swamy and His consort Goddess Lakshmi would be kept for darshan till the renovation of the main temple completes. According to sources, the renovation of the main temple would be completed in one year.

During this period, only priests would be allowed to enter the main temple to offer puja and other rituals to the presiding deity of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. According to the YTDA officials, Bala Alayam is being constructed at the dismantled place of Yadadri Enquiry Office in about 2,000 square yards with an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore.

YTDA Secretary Ramesh Reddy said that out of Rs. 2.50 crore allotted for the construction of Bala Alayam temple, Rs 1.3 crore would be spent for civil structures. The remaining Rs 1.2 crore would be spent on exteriors and interiors, where fibre and art works would be carried out to create cave and queue lines to get the main temple look.

As per the directions of the priests and one of the key advisers of Yadadri Temple Development Committee, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, the Bala Alayam would be completed by April 15, as inauspicious days will start from August third week due to Krishna Pushkaralu.
