Heat wave claims 11 lives in Telangana
With the increasing temperatures in Telangana, 11 more people have lost their lives to the heatwave conditions. Six sunstroke deaths were reported from Nalgonda district alone on Saturday while five more deaths have been reported from Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar, Warangal and Medak districts.

The victims to sunstroke were identified as Pittala Anand of Miryalaguda, Nomula Shailaja of Vemulapally mandal, Bhukya Amar Singh of Matampally mandal, Mudigonda Tiru-paiah of Chilukuru mandal, N Buchaiah of Chilukuru mandal and P Venkatamma of Tirumalagiri mandal from Nalgonda district. Konde Ellaiah and T Raghunatha Swamy of Huzurnagar mandal from Karimnagar district too succumbed to the sunstroke while one person each was reported to have lost their lives from Mahbubnagar, Warangal, and Medak districts.
