India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning for next two days for Telangana State. It said heat wave conditions were very likely to prevail over some parts of Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Khammam and Nalgonda districts in Telangana.

Hyderabad: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning for next two days for Telangana State. It said heat wave conditions were very likely to prevail over some parts of Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Khammam and Nalgonda districts in Telangana.

There will be appreciable rise in maximum temperatures at one or two places in Telangana. They were appreciably above normal at many places in the State. The highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda and Ramagundam.

Dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana State during the next five days. Most places in the State are likely to record maximum temperature between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius.

The temperatures recorded in several places in Telangana are: Adilabad (42 degrees Celsius), Bhadrachalam (43), Hakimpet (39), Hanamkonda (41), Hyderabad (41), Khammam (42), Mahbubnagar (42), Medak (42), Nalgonda (44), Nizamabad (43) and Ramagundam (44).
