SP seeks villagers’ cooperation for Mission Kakatiya

Narsampet (Warangal): Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ambar Kishor Jha has called upon the villagers to extend their cooperation and participate in the Mission Kakatiya works for their speedy completion.
Launching the restoration works at the Bojeruvu tank in Chennaraopet mandal in the district on Tuesday, Jha said that Mission Kakatiya, conceived by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and being implemented by State government has gained global recognition. The villagers and elected representatives should work in coordination for the success of the programme, he added. The rural police adopted the tank as part of Mission Kakatiya second phase works.
The villagers have extended a grand welcome to the SP, Ambar Jha, Narsampet DSP D Muralidhar and took them in a procession in a bullock cart to the tank premises. The SP has joined the workers and villagers in excavating the soil in the tank and operated the earth mover in launching the works. The Superintendent of Police asked the villagers to make the best use of the soil to increase the fertility of their agricultural lands to grow trees on the bund around the tank. He expressed the hope that there would be plenty of rains in the ensuing monsoon for a prospective crop season. Referring to the initiative of adopting the tank, SP Jha said such programmes would help to ensure healthy relations among the public and the police where they both could enjoy a friendly environment.
Narsampet Circle Inspector of Police , B Kishan, Gudur CI B Ramesh, Chennaraopet SI, P Venkat Goud, Irrigation Department deputy engineer S Sudharshan, the TRS leader P Sudharshan Reddy, local sarpanch B Komuraiah, ZPTC J Ram Reddy, MPTC B Indrasena Reddy and others were present.
