Rajanarasu likely to be Siddipet civic chairman

Kadvergu Rajanarasu is likely to be unanimously elected as Chairman for the Siddipet municipality. The election for the municipal chairman will be held at 11 am on Saturday.

Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao, who represents Siddipet, held a meeting on Friday with TRS president Murali Yadav and the newly-elected councillors. It is learnt that majority of them had recommended Rajanarasu.
Congress candidate from Ward No. 30, Waheed Khan, will be elected as Vice-Chairman. The V-C post is reserved for Muslim minorities.
This will be the second term for Rajanarsu as municipal chairman as he served in the same capacity in the last municipality.
