KCR said that at a time when the Telangana government was trying to provide irrigation facility to people of Palamuru, the Opposition Party leader in Andhra Pradesh seeks to obstruct it through a dharna whereas their Chief Minister discusses it with his cabinet and threatens to complain to the Centre. “It is time now for the political parties in Telangana to stand by the people of the State,” said KCR.

The Chief Minister reiterated that making a green Telangana was his dream and added that he had achieved Telangana during his tenure as an MP of Mahabubnagar. KCR said that his aim was to stop migration of workers from the districts and provide irrigated water to 16 to 17 lakh acres.

He vowed to complete the pending projects like Kalvakurthy, Nettempadu, Beema and Koilsagar and the Palamuru lift irrigation project well in time. He said that about 1.5 lakh acres of land would be getting irrigated water from Beema project from this Kharif season.
