Telangana EAMCET 2016 underway
Telangana EAMCET 2016 Engineering examination has begun on Sunday at 10 AM and the medical stream exam would be held from 2:30 PM. With 1,43,524 students appearing for the Engineering exam, over 276 examination centres have been set up across the state.

Deputy Chief Minister, Kadiyam Srihari informed that the set code for engineering exam is 'Q' while for the medical exam it is 'S'. For the first time in the state, a biometric fingerprinting is being introduced and the students were advised to reach the examination centre early. However, at few centres, students were not allowed to write the exam for arriving late. Also, three centres have been set up in Hyderabad along with one in Warangal for students who are taking the exam online. A total of 2.46 lakh students are taking the test for admission into engineering and medical streams.
