Cultural events enthrall public
The great culture of the State of Telangana was depicted through art, dance and plays at Ravindra Bharathi as a part of Telangana State Formation Day festivities organised by Language and Culture Department of Telangana, on Thursday. The cultural events started at 6:40 pm and continued beyond 10 pm.

The cultural events started at 6:40 pm and continued beyond 10 pm.
A total of 8 events enthralled the audience, which showcased the culture of Telangana. The events included a music recital by Ramachari group which included young Telangana lyricists who had rendered famous songs of Telangana. Later, students from Zilla Parishad High School, Warangal staged a play titled ‘Pavuticket Pareshaan’. The cultural events also included 'Arthanareeshwaram' by Dr Venkat.
Kuchipudi Dancer Indira Parasharam’s group performed ‘Naa Telangana - Koti Ratanala Veena' dance recital. Swapna performed to music on the Key Board. Sharath group paid homage to Telangana martyrs with their dance play. Sudhakar group performed ancient dance of Telangana while Ravikanth group performed to the Tabala.
At L B Indoor Stadium, a programme titled, 'Shaam-E-Ghazal' was organised. Renowned Ghazal singer Talat Aziz along with other famous singers enthralled the audience with their Ghazals.
