Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao reiterated that journalists in Hyderabad will soon get housing facility. The government had already identified the land for the purpose and separate colonies would be built in the near future, he said while addressing the State Formation Day celebrations at Parade Ground here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrashekar Rao said the journalists of the State would soon get the housing facility in the city first and then in districts. “We are committed to provide them permanent shelter. Besides, we are offering insurance to the scribes, which will also be offered to home guards and workers in the State.
As part of welfare measures, the government has extended Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak to BCs towards marriage of girls by giving Rs 51,000 to the mothers 10 days before the marriage, he added.
